Starting from January 2025, Good Life X embraced a transition in its leadership, as we welcome our new CEO, Emma de Silva and our new COO, Christina Gunasinghe. Alongside these appointments, GLX Founder and outgoing CEO, Randhula de Silva, will transition into the roles of Chairperson and Director of Innovation and Thought Leadership, while Vihangun Ariyaratne the outgoing COO, will step into the role of Director of Strategy and Sustainable Growth.

At Good Life X, we have seen our work change and grow as impactful catalysts towards birthing a new future for Sri Lanka, and this transition will further strengthen our path. These leadership appointments reflect GLX’s philosophy of intentional growth and regeneration, empowering individuals to lead with purpose.

Emma De Silva, a first-generation Sri Lankan-American, has been part of Good Life X since 2021 when she returned to Sri Lanka from the United States to reconnect with her roots. Emma has held roles as Community Jedi and Program Manager, and she has been instrumental in building strong, impactful connections across our extensive network. Her leadership has significantly advanced our initiatives in the creative and artistic industries, fostering innovation and growth. She is a graduate in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Sustainability from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a proven track record of working with environmentally conscious and innovation driven global initiatives. Emma brings her expertise and commitment to excellence in driving sustainable programs and projects to Good Life X, aligning perfectly with our vision of promoting regenerative business models and improving the Sri Lankan ecosystem of creatives, entrepreneurs, and businesses.

Christina Gunasinghe, consultant and specialist in corporate and startup growth sectors, has been part of the Good Life X ecosystem since 2023. Her roles consisted of leading the operations for THRIVE Canvas, Good Life X’s co-created business tool to implement regenerative principles into business, and she was Program Director for two of our previous accelerator programs. Christina’s extensive background working in financial and business advisory, and experience in working with companies in the Hospitality; Agriculture; Manufacturing; Entertainment ; Mixed Development; and Real Estate industries make her an essential addition to Good Life X’s leadership. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of West London, and CIMA. Her work and passion for entrepreneurship and business strategy, alongside her dedication to achieving the best impact matches the Good Life X spirit.

As we step into this new chapter at Good Life X, we advance with the spirit of innovation, resilience, and purpose that has guided us from the start. This transition is about renewed energy, fresh perspectives, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of building a regenerative future and building Sri Lanka as a beacon of South Asia. With Emma and Christina at the helm, supported by Randhula and Vihangun in their visionary roles, we are confident that Good Life X will continue to grow and thrive, creating positive change across industries, ecosystems, and communities.
