Meet the Team
Randhula de Silva
The Founder and CEO of GoodLife X. Formally the first CEO of Hatch works and Chief Disruptor of GIZ SME sector development program. Randhula works with multiple organisations as a designer of systems and programs creating positive disruptions in Sri Lanka.
She's currently a Director of the Sri Lankan chapter of the Global Entrepreneurship Network and being a strong advocator of homegrown artists and creatives, she also co-founded an alternate film screening platform and was the Executive Producer of a Sri Lankan Feature film.
Randhula holds a Masters in Development Planning and BBA in Business Economics from University of Colombo and was awarded Chevening Research, Science and Innovation Leadership Fellow from University of Oxford.
Arj Wignaraja
Arj Wignaraja started his career at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he helped formulate business strategies for Fortune 500 clients. He then built Stax, a boutique consulting firm in Boston and Sri Lanka.
More recently Arj served as a Vice President at Cerberus Frontier, a US private equity fund. He is also a founder of Remote Sensing Metrics, a Non-Executive Director at Cenmetrix, Asia Securities, and Chairperson of the South East Asia Leadership Academy (SEALA, a game changing bootcamp for leaders from the region).
Arj holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Princeton University.
Anushka Wijesinha
Anushka Wijesinha is an Economist specializing in trade, competitiveness and innovation, with experience in Government, private sector and think tanks. He consults for international organizations in Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Maldives, and in particular he is a competitiveness and export strategy consultant for the International Trade Centre (ITC), Geneva.
In the private sector, he serves in a non-executive capacity on the boards of Seylan Bank PLC, Fairfirst Insurance Ltd, HNB Finance PLC, Capital Alliance Investments Ltd, and he chairs the investment commitment of a high net-worth family office. Anushka also serves on the Board of the Sri Lankan chapter of the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
Vihangun Ariyaratne
Vihangun is the Founder CEO of Owita Naturals pvt ltd, is an organic and healthy food company based in Sri Lanka and the Founder CEO of TrainMe, a learning & consultancy platform. He also works as an industry consultant and a visiting lecturer in the fields of Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Project Management, Entrepreneurship and MentalWellbeing. He was the technical lead & heading innovations for GSK Sri Lanka, a part of the supply chain leadership team until 2021.
Vihangun holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, BSc in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Institute of Technology – Sligo, Ireland.
Emma de Silva
Emma has worked across different pillars of GLX since joining in 2021 - from leading communications, driving community initiatives, fostering partnerships and establishing special projects. She currently leads as a Project Manager for GLX's creative based projects. She is most passionate about working together to create a more circular and environmentally conscious future for both businesses and consumers, through sustainable development and innovation.
Emma was born and raised in California and is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. She moved to Sri Lanka in March of 2021 and through GLX, finds her passion in building sustainable initiatives across Sri Lanka.
Christina Gunasinghe
Christina Gunasinghe is the Program Director for the THRIVE Canvas at Good Life X. She specialises in financial and business strategy, offering expert advice to startups, SMEs, and investors. She is passionate about fostering entrepreneurship while championing sustainability and regenerative practices in business, with experience in experience in consulting for companies in the Hospitality; Agriculture; Manufacturing; Entertainment ; Mixed Development; and Real Estate Industries. Her work with Good Life X began in 2023 as a Business Development Consultant for the Climate Adaptation Accelerator, and then shifted to being the Team Lead for the Road to Regen program that very same year. In her current role, Christina formulates workshops and advisory sessions to promote Good Life X's THRIVE Canvas, and strategizes new ways to promote the product within Sri Lanka and beyond. Christina holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of West London, and is CIMA qualified.
Viranja Jayawardena
Viranja Jayawardena is an undergraduate in Business with International Management, and one of the youngest members of team GLX. She works as a program associate for ‘The Routes We Take’ program where she manages the smooth operation of the program.
She also operates as a Communications associate helping us conceptualize and design our content. She brings her resonance with the core values at Good Life X and keen interest in business which makes her an invaluable asset to us.
Samith Boralessa
Samith is a passionate digital marketer and a growing entrepreneur with an exciting mix of interests. Whether he's whipping up a delicious meal in the kitchen, jamming to music, or working with gemstones, his creative spirit shines through everything he does. But what truly drives him is his love for Sri Lanka's most precious resource—its gemstones. As the founder of his own jewelry brand, Samith is on a mission to showcase Sri Lanka’s world-class gems to the global market, helping to elevate the island’s profile on the international stage.At Good Life X (GLX), Samith’s work aligns with the organization’s values of regeneration, innovation, and global impact. By promoting Sri Lanka’s gemstones through ethical practices, he not only builds a successful brand but also contributes to the local economy, exemplifying GLX’s commitment to empowering local industries and fostering meaningful change
Thushan Wickramasinghe
Thushan Wickramasinghe holds a BBA in Management Information Systems and started his career as an assistant engineer at the Arthur C Clarke Institute of Science, but he soon found his true calling in the exciting world of marketing. Fueled by his passion for creativity and innovation, Thushan took a bold step and founded a digital design agency with his partner in crime, stirring up the industry with their unique ideas and out-of-the-box thinking.
Now, as a Project Manager for Good Life X, Thushan is bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to his homeland, making a positive impact in the lives of Sri Lankans. With his infectious energy and passion for success, Thushan is sure to make waves in the business world, inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and determination.
Kamil Jayah
Kamil Jayah is a dedicated professional who currently serves as the Admin & Logistics Operations Manager for Good Life X. His strong belief in living a healthy lifestyle is evident from his emphasis on both mental and physical well-being. His career began as a chef and mushroom cultivator, motivated by his desire to provide the community with nutritious food.
Kamil's passion for healthy living and his expertise in administration and logistics have made him an integral part of the GLX team. He is committed to developing sustainable systems that enable individuals to thrive, furthering his initial goal of providing access to healthy food options. Through his dedication and hard work, Kamil strives to make a meaningful impact in the world both within the GLX team and in the wider community.
Vindhya Gunawardene
Vindhya Gunawardhana gained most of her professional experience in the construction industry. She worked at Turner Construction Company, New York and worked on several high rise commercial development projects in New York and in the Middle East.
In Sri Lanka she worked at the Colombo City Centre as the Development Manager, as a Director at TRACE, volunteered at the Southern Development Board to develop the master plan for the development of the Southern Province, and as a consultant to the Ecosystem Conservation and Management Project (ESCAMP) under the Ministry of Environment. Vindhya holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) degree from the City College of the City University of New York.
Hari Jashwanth
Introducing Hari, our Communications Intern, who joined GLX while still completing his final years of school at the age of 17. As a member of the generation that is confronting the negative consequences of past extractive practices, Hari recognizes the importance of GLX's work in promoting societal progress and inclusive development.
With a strong interest in media and content creation, Hari has been involved in numerous initiatives, including the successful launch of the 'Scale the Good Podcast.' As the youngest member of our team, he offers a distinct and innovative viewpoint that enriches our collective efforts.
